Luxury Escapes has opened its first retail store inside Australia’s biggest shopping centre and it’s being described as the “Apple store of travel”.
On Thursday, the shop — touted as the “world’s most luxurious” travel retail store — started welcoming customers at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne’s southeast.
Up until now, holidays through Luxury Escapes had only been available to book online.

The 400sqm store in Chadstone not only allows face-to-face customer service, but also has barista-made coffee, French champagne, a bar and a VIP event space.
Customers are able to go to the store and receive advice from a travel expert and help to book their holiday.

They can also book online at a later date if they prefer.
“We’re super excited to have our first official retail store in the fashion capital, Chadstone,” Luxury Escapes co-founder and CEO Adam Schwab told 7NEWS.

“We’ve got an incredible set-up and think it’s the most luxurious, biggest and most incredible travel store in the world.
“You can get coffee, you can get cocktails and we’ll try to match it up to where you’re going. So if you’re going to Singapore, we’ll give you a Singapore Sling.”
The store is open 9am to 5pm from Monday to Wednesday, 9am until 7pm on Thursday and Friday, Saturday 9am until 5pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
